Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav 2022
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of it’s people, culture and achievements. This time the country is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of freedom on Independence Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi from Sabarmati Ashram Ahmedabad in Gujarat in March 2021 to celebrate 75 years of the country’s independence . This event will run till the year 2023.

Through this scheme, the nectar festival of independence will have to be given the form of a mass movement. Not only this, all the departments will also have to use the logo of the Amrit Festival of Independence by the Government of India.

The official journey of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commenced on 12th March 2021 which started a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence and will end post a year on 15th August 2023. Following are the five themes of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
