Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairss has released the district-wise Assam Ration Card List 2023 online at fcsca.assam.gov.in. All the citizens who had previously filled in Assam Ration Card Application Form for name inclusion can now check their name online in APL / BPL / NFSA Assam Ration Card List 2023. Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Assam Ration Card List under Food Supply Department, Assam i.e. fcsca.assam.gov.in.

Step 3- You will then be taken to the Tehsil name page. Select your Tehsil.

Step 4- Once you click on the Tehsil name, you will see all the village names.

Step 1- You have to visit the concerned Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs branch office to apply for a ration card.

Step 2- Visit the website of the PDS: PDS Portal

Step 3- Click on “PDS stakeholders”, and then choose “In States”

Step 4- Once you choose “District Food and Supply Officer”, click on “FPS Dealers”.

Step 5- Click on the state.

Step 9- You can then visit the office and collect the application form.

In case the ration card is lost or become defaced, mutilated, illegible or otherwise rendered unless for no fault of the holder of the ration card, the competent authority can issue duplicate ration card after charging the appropriate fee.

Only a permanent resident of Assam state can apply for the ration card. Families with ration cards not yet available are eligible to apply. Newly married couples can also apply for a new ration card. Persons holding temporary ration cards can also apply for a permanent ration card. They must not have any family card or ration in any State in India. If you are newly married and have your name in your family ration card, you and your spouse should get name deletion certificates Residents of the state of Assam must have an income of Rs 1 lakh, otherwise, they will not be eligible for this ration card.

Before implementation of NFSA ’13 in the state there were three types of Ration Cards, termed as Family Identity Cards (FIC) in Assam. These three types of ration cards were meant for I) APL (Above Poverty Line) II) BPL (Below Poverty Line) III) AAY(Antodaya Anna Yojana) beneficiaries under PDS/TPDS. Besides, there was another type of Ration Card issued by the State Government which was called MMASY ( Mukhya Mantrir Anna Suraksha Yojana) card. National Food Security Act, 2013 The National Food Security Act came into force on 10 September 2013 by the Government of India, NFSA scheme has been implemented in the state of Assam to provide benefits mainly to the people of the society. A target has been set to provide benefits to more than 55 lakh families through this scheme. With the implementation of NFSA scheme in the state on 24-12-2015 by the central government, the ration card holders will be selected for priority families at Rs 3 per 5 kg every month and every family of AAY 35 kg at Rs 3 per kg.
