YSR Aarogyasri Card Online Registration Process

The Government of Andhra Pradesh launched the YSR Aarogyasri Health Insurance Scheme on 01-04-2007 to cover the Below Poverty Line families. A list of 533(389 surgical and 144 medical) such procedures were identified for inclusion under the scheme w.e.f 17th July 2008 in order to enable all BPL families to avail cashless treatment for medical ailments. At present, the scheme covers around 1038 medical procedures.

Step 1- The applicant need to visit their nearest MeeSeva Centre for Aarogyasri health card.

Step 2- Now through the MeeSeva Agent Login ID & Password, your Health card will be applied.

Step 4- After the under the Meeseva Agent will apply for your health card.

Step 5- Now after the successful registration you will get an acknowledgment slip. Keep it safe for future use.

Steps to Claim for YSR Aarogyasri Scheme

Claim Process For Beneficiaries: 

Beneficiaries simply have to present their YSR Health Cards to a Vaidya Mitra for verification. In case they do not possess a physical card, the beneficiary may provide the YSR Health Card number to the same. In case, there is no physical proof of enrollment, the details are obtainable through the Aarogyasri Trust.

Claim Process for Hospitals: 

The hospital must obtain authorization for any surgical treatments. The trust can only fulfill claims if hospital authorities meet the following:

  • The hospitals are pre-authorized to perform a treatment that has been approved under the scheme.
  • The claim is filed at the earliest.
  • The claim amount is less than the pre-authorized limit.
  • There exists photographic evidence of the treatment for claim settlement.

The Dr.YSR Aarogyasri portal can also be used to collect claim documents,intimate claims, scrutinize claim documents, etc. The following information is verified once the claim is filed and received:

  • The patient’s identity
  • Treatment evidence
  • Claim amount in relation to the authorized amount
  • Case management with respect to prior authorizatio

YSR Aarogyasri Card Scheme Eligibility Criteria

Beneficiary Guidelines
  • The candidate should just have under 35 acres of land, including wet and dry land.
  • The candidate must have metropolitan property charge paying families for under 3000 sqft.
  • Outsourcing, contract, part-time employees, and sanitation workers with an annual income of over Rs 5 lakhs can also apply.
  • The individual working in government/private firms can also apply.
  • If the applicant has more than one vehicle then they are not eligible for this health scheme.
  • The Families filing income tax up to Rs 5 lakhs are also eligible under this scheme.

ABOUT SCHEME
Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Scheme 2021: Online Application Form PDF Download – Arogyasri scheme was introduced by Late CM. YS Rajasekhar Reddy to provide the health benefits for the BPL families, employees, working journalists, pensioners, and APL families. The main aim of this scheme is to assure the health benefits to everyone with a nominal charge.

All households :

  1. with annual income of less than or upto 5 lakhs is eligible.
  2. Land holding less than 12 acres of wet or 35 acres of dry or a total of 35 acres (wet & Dry).
  3. Not having more than one personal car
  4. Families who own no property or less than3000 sft built up area in urban area
  5. Government employees are covered under employee health scheme . Therefore not covered under YSR Aarogyasri Card.

The state government of Telangana then introduced a health insurance scheme named Aarogyasri Community Health Insurance Scheme that provides health insurance coverage to Below Poverty Level (BPL) families. The scheme, that aims to cover the underprivileged from critical illnesses, is implemented by the Aarogya Healthcare Trust. The Chief Minister of the state chairs the trust.

YSR Aarogyasri Card:

The eligible families that enrol under Dr YSR Aarogyasri scheme receive the YSR Aarogyasri Health Card. This health card gives access to cashless medical facilities across empaneled hospitals in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It contains a unique card number, a photograph of the cardholder, and other details related to the beneficiary. The YSR Aarogyasri Health Card also acts as proof of enrolment under the scheme at the time of a medical emergency.

  • The Andhra Pradesh Government will help in implementing the scheme by providing several financial aids to the people.
  • This scheme is for the ones who will not be able to pay the medical bills on time or are not able to undergo various surgeries when severe cases occur.
  • In this scheme, either an individual or the family as a whole can receive a reimbursement of Rs.1.5 lakhs.
  • An additional benefit amount equal to Rs.50,000 is provided to manage expenses when the treatment amount crosses Rs.1.5 lakhs.
